It began as a project to design a built-in entertainment center for the family room. Next came his-and-hers shared office desk units for the new rustic home office. What evolved was that and more. Stoilis designed a second fireplace in the family room and assisted in completing the home’s interior furnishings and window coverings. The architecture is what Jamie would call ”rustic sophistication”, and it was very well matched to the clients’ taste. The design approach was to fall right in line with the architectural aesthetic using clean contemporary lines and an organic palette. This, combined with the client’s personal finds, was a recipe for a match made in heaven.
